We’re experiencing technical difficulties maintaining our wireless connection at home. The fact that we’ve never actually paid for it may have something to do with the problem. It is being rectified by the ordering of DSL service which hopefully will kick-in sometime in the next 10 days. Stay tuned.

When my laptop died back in March, I replaced it with this desktop, but I�ve really been feenin� for another laptop. This may be it. Despite my present circumstances, I may have to figure out how to get one.

Did I mention I got a new computer this week?

The laptop is officially dead, but Apple is expected to announce new iBooks in April, so I’ll wait to see what they look like before I try to replace it.

The laptop is in the shop again. Hard drive problems caused the screen to go out. The hard drive was replaced just last year, so somebody owes me big time. Consequently, updates to this site will be sporadic at best. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, do take the survey.

It’s probably time for a new computer or two.

I got my computer back Saturday from the repair shop. A new hard drive was installed and ALL MY DATA WAS RETRIEVED!!! I am sooo relieved.

That is only the second hard drive crash I�ve experienced in 15 years of computer ownership, with data retrieved both times, but I know I�ve been dodging a major bullet. So, do as I say, not as I do. Backup, backup, backup!

We�ll be investing in a storage device real soon.
