I just don’t understand ppl who aren’t into phone conversations…nowadays, I’d rather have a good phone conversation than be bothered getting together with ppl.

Agree: I love acting, but hate show business.
For a phone conversation to work, we both have to be available at the same time. If you call me when I’m busy, you’re inconveniencing me. Face-to-face, we have both agreed to be there. But my preference is email. You send it whenever, I read it whenever. We can give complete thoughts without interruption. I can answer a dozen emails in the same time it takes for one good phone call.
I’ve been saying that acting/show biz one for ages. Having the job and being able to perform is wonderful fun. The crap you have to put up with to get the job, maintain a career, establish contacts, etc., takes all the fun out of it.
