Oh, those Black Republicans! They sure know so much more than us progressive liberal types. Why they’ll even tell you so.
The National Black Republican Association (who knew!) has produced a radio ad that you can hear here, that tells Black folks all we need to know about the differences between Republicans and Democrats. Taking a long range, historical approach to this particular brand of revisionist history—they’ve conveniently overlooked the rise of conservativism in their own party over the last 50 years and how that has impacted us—they innumerate all the bad things the Democrats have done since slavery.
I wonder if it’s too late to change my registration before November?
