We live in a society where people think you have to respect their differences…. but they forget to do the same in return. Those are the ones that can be called HYPOCRITES…. then again, why label them????
Frankly, I don’t really care what 50 Cent thinks about gay people. I am more concerned with whether he can understand and articulate why and how he arrived at his way of thinking. Is it rooted in some narrowly constructed view of masculinity, patterned after a white male patriarchal system, that has no real relationship to the lives and values of Black people, male or female, gay or straight? I suspect so.

I try not to let ignorance offend me these days. It’s like yelling at a deaf person.
